At the age of nineteen, he was offered a spot with the Avengers, to which he declined on his own. Stating he rather be behind the scenes rather than out in the lime light, although he has helped the team out whenever they've needed him.Currently, Agent Grigori Barnes serves as a spy for SHIELD. He aids the Avengers on their more covert missions, and takes private party missions at his own discretion.
